Your GuidesArleigh Jorgenson is recognized as a leader among North America's mushers - a veteran with 30+ years of experience.  He has raced in over 100 races throughout North America, including money-winning finishes in ten 500-mile races in Minnesota and Montana.  Arleigh has been guiding trips for the last 13 years.  He makes his home outside Grand Marais in a log cabin he built himself, alongside his 100 dog kennel.  Arleigh is joined now by his son, Odin, an accomplished wilderness guide as well as musher from childhood.  They are assisted by Nancy Lang, Josh Lindstrom, Aaron Poznanovic, and Kelly Thayer.  All combine their love of dogs and mushing with guiding experience, teaching competency and wilderness skills.  Safety is their highest priority..

Scheduling TripsWe schedule Minnesota trips from the first of December through the end of March; sometimes great winter conditions allow us to continue until mid-April.  Lake Superior provides us with an average of over 10 feet of snow per season.  Each adventure is a customized trip arranged just for you.  Determine when you'd like to visit, how long you can stay and what type of accommodations you prefer.  Give us a call or e-mail us and together we'll plan the best trip for you.

Deposit/Payment Policy:  A deposit equal to 1/3 of the price is due after making your reservation.  This deposit is fully refundable, if cancellation is received within 30 days of the start of your trip.  This deposit is also fully refundable should lack of snow require cancellation.  Full and final payment is due before your trip begins.  We accept personal checks and cash; sorry we don't accept credit cards.
